Product Description

Hydrogen chloride is colorless, with a melting point of -114.2 degrees and a boiling point of -85 degrees. It does not burn in the air and is thermally stable. It decomposes only at about 1500 ° C. It has a choking odor, has a strong irritation to the upper respiratory tract, and is corrosive to the eyes, skin and mucous membranes. Its density is greater than air. Its aqueous solution is hydrochloric acid. Concentrated hydrochloric acid is volatile.

Hydrogen chloride is a corrosive, non-combustible gas that does not react with water but is easily soluble in water. The air often exists in the form of hydrochloric acid smoke. Application

Hydrogen chloride gas is mainly used to make dyes, spices, drugs, various chlorides and corrosion inhibitors.

Use of hydrogen chloride
1. Gas cylinders should be lightly loaded and unloaded during transportation and loading and unloading. It is strictly prohibited to throw, slide, roll and severe collision.
2. Before using hydrogen chloride gas, connect the qualified pressure reducing valve to the gas cylinder and clean the connecting hose as required. Do not use the same pressure reducing valve when using different gas cylinders.
3. When welding, appropriate protective measures should be taken for gas and electricity. Do not use damaged equipment such as hoses, cables, and welding torches.
4. Do not use inert gas (such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, etc.) in the enclosed space for experimental analysis, welding, cold storage, blowing out, etc.
5. In use occasions that may cause backflow, the equipment must be equipped with devices to prevent backflow, such as check valves, check valves, flame arresters, etc.
6. When using high-purity chlorine gas, a check valve and a flame arrester must be installed at the outlet of the pressure reducer to prevent backflow and tempering, and a check valve must be installed at the outlet of the oxygen cylinder pressure reducer to prevent acetylene gas from returning.
7. Before using hydrogen chloride gas, all pressure reducing valves, welding torches, hoses and acetylene bottles should be leak tested with soapy water to prevent it from accumulating in the air.
8. The distance between the point of placing the cylinder and the open flame must not be less than 10m (at high altitude, it should be parallel to the vertical ground); the cylinder should be stored upright, and there are measures to prevent falling.
9. Hydrogen chloride gas cylinders must be upright when used, and there are measures to prevent dumping. It is strictly prohibited to use them in a lying position.
10. When using the gas, use a special handle to open and close the bottle valve, and always install it on the valve. When the use is temporarily suspended, the welding and cutting tool valve and gas valve must be closed. It is strictly prohibited to hold the lighted welding and cutting tool to adjust the pressure reducer or open and close the gas bottle valve.
11. If leakage is found during the use of hydrogen chloride gas cylinders, it shall be disposed of in a timely manner. It is strictly forbidden to use it in case of leakage.
